Tuscany Villas Rotorua

Unit was clean and tiny. Reception staff very friendly. Older motel. Rotorua is in a geothermal zone in NZ so, unfotunately, smells like rotten eggs from the sulphur. No fault of the property!

Tuscany is a beautiful rustic place. I enjoyed the spa pool in the room. However, during our stay in Rotorua it was summer time and temperatures reached around 30 degrees. The rooms felt a lot more heated than the weather outside. the fans in the room were weak. I had trouble sleeping because of it. Aircon is recommended as this will make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Staying at Tuscany would be a lot comfortable during the more colder seasons.

Toaster tripped the switchboard and power went off when no other appliances were being used. On a hot day the room was very hot. The though ceiling fan was not helping to cool the room down. For the price we paid I expected air conditioning. When we booked out there was no one in reception to take the key and talk about the toaster problem. We left the toaster with the key on the counter. The spa pool in the bathroom was very good.

Nice property in a good location. Nice and Central for local attractions of te puia, Polynesian spa and kuirau park. Pool was a bit small, but we didn't plan to use it. They let us park there before check in time which was great.

The room was clean and neat. The only thing was it was very warm and the room had a small ceiling fan to cool the room. There was no air conditioning.

Good friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Close to amenities

Nice Motel, room had a very large Whirlpool which we didn't use.

Spa was lovely. Nice spacious room. Raining and we could park right outside.

A good place to stay in Rotorua - close to most attractions and a nice airy room which was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the facilities were good.
