The bed was comfortable and location good.

The pictures listed on both booking.com and the hostel website show a spacious room with large windows and a double bed. What I got put in was a dark shoe box. I'd be more than happy staying in that room if that's what was advertised and was reflected in the price. What I thought I was paying for was light, a space to myself, table and chairs to sit at, somewhere to hang my clothes etc. but I got a double bed squeezed into a tiny odd shaped room with bunk beds squeezed in too. If I'd known that was what I was getting there's no way I'd have paid that price, I would have extra for a budget hotel instead. When I went to reception to talk about this I was told that because I booked through booking.com there was nothing that could be done about it and that it's booking.com's fault for showing the wrong pictures. NOTE: they are the exact same pictures as the Kabannas website so there was no way of me knowing that the room I was put in even existed before getting there. I asked for a partial refund as I didn't get what I paid for at all and they said no. On top of this the room was not clean, the floor clearly hadn't been hoovered since the last guest, I had dirt stuck to my socks and didn't want to walk around bare foot in there at all. The room was insanely dusty causing an allergic reaction all night. I caught a glimpse of the room I actually paid for when the door was open for cleaning and it looked lovely, had I just received this instead of the claustrophobic box I was put it, I'd have no complaints. I'd also have happily paid a much lower price for the room I was in - the false advertising and the amount I paid for the quality is ridiculous.
