"Looking forward to the next time."

What an interesting place. Wonderful gardens and magnificent ancient architecture. Good food in the pub for breakfast and very good coffee in the Green cafe with a wide selection of cakes. The walk down to Totnes was quiet and beautiful. In the evening we saw a barn owl in the garden.

We should have stayed for longer.

"Very Good"

The location is wonderful, the staff are great. The restaurant is excellent.

The rooms are a little tired - broken window blind for example - poor hearing system and no where to dry towels

Fantastic historic location. Excellent breakfast. You must visit the gardens, the Green table cafe on the grounds also do amazing food.

Breakfast was poor value with little choice, especially for anyone not interested in a traditional cooked breakfast.

"A great stay"

All staff (reception, room service - excellent) - breakfast and location perfect Stayed at Dartington regularly and love the area -

The room was so hot! This was the only downside to our stay. The heating pipe running through the room was constantly on and hot - making sleep very uncomfortable (even with windows open) - unable to adjust the heating or switch it off. Radiators in corridors were constantly on and hot. Heating bills must be high! Adjustable heating would be welcome

"Dartington Estate is a perfect setting for a short stay for exploring the whole area."

Location, White Hart, very helpful & friendly staff, excellent shower, all amenities in room, free use of garden etc.

Very poor wifi in East Wing which was not useable unless we sat in White Hart. Ditto for tv apart from BBC1 & a couple of other stations. Matter falling from skylight into shower. Some already there on arrival. Tap needs tightening in bathroom

The Dartington Estate is a beautiful estate with incredible gardens and very old buildings scattered all around the estate. It is close to the very nice town of Totnes.

"Historic Visit"

Warm and cosy room. Lovely old building put to good use. Food excellent. Great breakfast and evening meal. Cinema on site. Bagel Café, best bagel we've ever had. Fantastic tour of the newly opened block.

Entrance hall of East Wing, created a bad impression as it could have done with a hoover and was very untidy, including a dustbin lid. Once we got inside our room it was fine. Signage could be better on site.
