Casa de la Noche

What an amazing place! Full of nooks and crannies and courtyards and outdoor sitting areas, Casa De La Noche is comfortable, close to everything and has an amazing staff of friendly and accommodating locals. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was cozy and the art on the walls was spectacular. Highly Recommend!

This charming boutique hotel checks every box for me. It is warm, welcoming, has a rich and interesting history, and you feel like a part of the fabric of the community when you stay here, especially if you are lucky enough to meet the owner during your stay. The intriguing street facade suggests something special behind the front door and once inside, the local Mexican art, crafts, furniture, and interior courtyards and interconnected spaces create a very special vibe. During our stay my friends and I especially enjoyed the breakfasts and talking with other interesting guests who were enjoying their stay as much as we were. When I return to San Miguel de Allende, I will always stay at Casa de la Noche.

The hotel could not have been more perfect! it was adorable and cozy with a lovely breakfast...great location near the square, restaurants and shopping. Our host, Barbara, was helpful with shopping and anything we wished to do...we could not have been happier with our accommodations and would definitely return!

Casa De La Noche is my new home away from home. I adored this place and everyone in it! Barbara, the Owner, is a classy lady, and so helpful. Ana, Uz, and Roberto are all fabulous. It felt like a warm home when I arrived at 2.30 am in the morning due to late flights. Barbara made sure that someone was waiting for me and took me to a lovely room. Breakfast was fantastic - thanks to the ladies in the kitchen. I will one day return to this beautiful spot!!!!!

Delightful 2nd stay stay at Casa De La Noche! My first visit was with a workshop/retreat and the Casa is perfect for that type of thing -- plenty of beautiful common spaces for activities and also for just relaxing and chatting. The bedrooms are unique, charming and very comfortable. (Having a whole-establishment water filter is fantastic because you never worry about H2O!) During this second visit - by myself - I realized how wonderful the Casa is for travelers who are on their own or maybe in a couple. The relaxed atmosphere means that you never feel awkward - it's perfectly pleasant to read or relax by oneself - or to strike up a conversation with another guest there. It's a lovely way to meet others visiting beautiful San Miguel! The staff is very friendly, attentive (without being intrusive) and helpful. And it's obvious from the decor to the management to the atmosphere that gathering and caring for people in a beautiful and creativity-inspiring space is a true calling for the hotel owner. Finally, the location is superb because it's about a 4-5 minute walk from the gorgeous plaza and cathedral at the center of town, but it's on a quiet, one-way (which makes a huge difference for traffic and noise) street. Highly recommend for all kinds of travelers.
