I stayed recently at this charming bed and breakfast hotel for five nights. Everyone there was very charming and helpful. I was needing a peaceful getaway and this fit my needs. Very quaint, quiet and beautifully decorated. 10 min easy walk to the Jardín. The owner, Barbara, and her staff were always very pleasant and helpful letting me know of certain activities I might like. The breakfast each morning was delicious and so nice having breakfast on their patio to start my day! I highly recommend and I will be back!

Had a wonderful weekend stay through Easter Sunday. The hotel itself is so lovely with lush gardens in the courtyard, where you can enjoy your breakfast (included in price) to the peaceful sounds of the splashing fountain and watch the birds’ comings and goings. Breakfast consisted of all you can drink coffee, fresh fruit ( heavenly ripe mango, papaya, cantaloupe and pineapple), yoghurt, granola, more coffee, mango juice and a rotating menu of omelettes, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, etc. The rooms are quirky and uniquely decorated with lovely Mexican textiles and antiques. I stayed in “Pepita”, one of the “working girls” rooms. Yes! This hotel was once a famous bordello! You can explore the history of it in the gorgeous dining area. They also have a bar on the honor system, where you just jot down the amount of wine, beer, sodas or snacks you took, which is great if you come in really late and need a little something. The best thing here though, is the outstanding personal attention from everyone that works here, from Ricardo and Uz (sp.?) at the reception desk, housekeeping, food servers and of course the owner, Doña Barbara! They are so amazingly kind and helpful with anything you need and great for personal tips to make your stay even more pleasant. Will definitely be returning!

This place is beautiful!! The staff are friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the beds are comfy. Location is very near the centre of town, where you can easily find great restaurants and shopping. Casual, laid back and quiet. Perfect for our 2-night stay at SM.

This charming boutique hotel offers a relaxing ambiance. Rooms are delightful. Personalized Service is lovely and breakfast was on point in the courtyard with a peaceful fountain. We absolutely loved the location. This is the best price value paid experience.
