Hotel & Spa Poco a Poco

Gorgeous hotel with personalized service. Lovely selection for breakfast including made to order omelettes or eggs. Several fresh fruit selection. Restaurants on site had gorgeous ambience excellent service and a delicious meal. Swim up bar was warm and relaxing after an active day zip lining or hiking. Hotel is close to restaurants and shopping with an easy walking distance.

A place of contrasts. GOOD. Superb resturant. Real style to the public decor. Convenient central location. Lovely gardens Very helpful maintenance staff who fixed our broken room safe. BAD. Quite major building work going on that we were not told about. Reception staff more interested in gushingy telling me it was going to be a new gym, rather than appreciating that the banging and power tools might detract from our stay! Reception staff failed to ask for a credit card on check-in leading to the embarrassing refusal of my first order at the bar...in front of other guests. This was rapidly rectified by a different member of staff, but should never have happened in the first place. Rooms suffer from noise. The corridors echo badly and the sound really carries. Would I stay again? No. But I'd eat at the resturant again in an instant...Really Superb!

It’s a nice little hotel tucked away in the small town of Monteverde. It has a nice pool and close proximity to the area attractions and dining options. Safe, clean and a decent breakfast spread.

Super clean and the people were very friendly. In a perfect location where you can walk to the town and all the restaurants. Would recommend this to all! The breakfast was great and staff was genuinely nice and wanting to make sure. We had a great time.

Really nice. Kids loved the heated pool. Restaurants in a walking distance. Good hotel!

The grounds are spectacular

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel from the very friendly staff, great service, to the warm and inviting premises, and beautiful view in back of hotel. They also had nice amenities including a small hiking path through the forest where we saw some birds and animals. Would definitely visit again in the future!!

We loved our visit to Monteverde and stay at Poco a Poco. The room and beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend the short trek along the trail that is on the hotel grounds. Only improvement would be the hot tub could have been hotter temperature.

My stay at Hotel Poco a Poco in Monteverde was absolutely magical, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating! I spent mornings wandering the stunning gardens, amazed by the beautiful flowers, and watched toucans from breakfast. The pool is very nice, and the food is very good (especially the fresh fruit and superb coffee!). My room was perfect with a comfy bed. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Plus, the hotel is perfectly located around the corner from many restaurants and souvenir stores. Highly recommend this enchanting spot!
