Lamplighter Motel

The hotel was very rundown on the outside, overgrown gardens, broken furniture. Room looked clean but pull back sheets dirty and bed bugs crawling on clean sheets.

Unclean sink, screwed up blankets, graffiti on bed light pelmit and inadequate crockery. Nothing that 5 minutes of care couldn't fix. Check in / out too efficient making it impersonal and unwelcoming.

Firstly the good points It was close to the venue we was attending The bed was comfortable Great shower Ok now the bad points Air conditioner is positioned at the back of the room Bath mat was dirty Hair on the bench (not mine) Chewing gum stuck to the wall..disgusting..! No hotel information in the room

The biggest shock is that we paid $120 for the room, yet they gave us a receipt for $102. Unfortunately I did not have my glasses on and merely trusted them to give us the correct details.

The room was very clean and tidy and was also quite large with plenty of space. We are going to stay there again soon. We would recommend this hotel.

Ants throughout the room, smell of smoke, noisy, and many undesirable guests, banging on our door, yelling, screaming and swearing until 3am in the morning. Staying with young children, this was a truely awful experience.

Dirty, smelly, bugs in the room. Not as advertised.

Pretty basic. Uncomfortable Shower. For low rate accomidation on a short trip, would be fine.

One night and close to where we wanted to go. Room was clean and warm.
