Lamplighter Motel

there where people threatening to stab each other outside of the hotel room and fighting all throughout the night. also, the bed was harder than the floor... and the room was completely trashed. biggest waste of money ve ever spent

This motel is no longer part of Golden Chain group. Carpark is filthy. Room we had did not in any way match the photos on website.

I would never stay here again!! It was extremally poor standards with rubbish and household items out the front of rooms. I stayed for an hour before I decided to leave and find accommodation elsewhere. The loud music and people yelling out the front of my room was enough for me to feel unsafe

Room old the people staying there are noisy some have dog

Noisy neighbours up all night. Rooms are used by short term renters from social services

Enough parking 👍 Bed sheets wasn’t changed there was food crumbs under the doona Bed sides, desk and TV shelves was very dusty. Microwave had coffee stains and spills. Pillows were not comfy.

The bathroom was disgusting mild all over sink very dirty around taps and behind sink

We were relocated to the apartment which was 7 mins drive compared to the original motel location which was close to Chadstone Shopping Centre. This was quite inconvenient

Split system not working.Wash basin cracked.Shower not draining well.Spare blanket not folded just stuffed onto shelf.Associated restraunt needed a good clean service and food were below standard . The whole place would be great with a little bit of maintaince however we will not be returning.

New bed and linen & attempt to spruce up the bathroom. Poor cleaning: table sticky with lemonade and bathroom not properly cleaned. Was charged $12 for soft drinks and nuts I didn't consume. Minibar wasn't properly restocked and I was charged for it even though I have a medical condition which prevents me from having soft drinks. Demanded my money back. No staff at desk to check out although waited for 5 mins and called out repeatedly. Restaurant filled with boxes. Untidy.
