The stay and the rest. These so called villas are actually dirty cabins, built decades ago needing a major revamp. The elderly couple tries to manage, fix and maintain the whole property with 40 odd cabins, which are failing in cleanliness, acceptable level of kitchen equipment and utensils, with shared extension cords and a noisy old fridge, old cheap beds. The floor was so dirty that after half an hour of our entry all our feet were coal black. We ended up cleaning the cabin, wiping the floors to stay. We left the cabin cleaned to a standard, on our used areas of course, it might not have seen for long. Some photos of what you might expect to get if you decide to stay in this property. They change bed sheets once a week, and would give fresh towels after 3 days, otherwise they will charge, for 'environmental reasons', of course... The shower drainage was broken, half discharging to the nature reserve. Shower head was leaking. Bar chairs were all, from top to bottom in brown rust... One day hot water tap failed and had to be replaced. With an AC full of black dust build up, 2mm dust on fridge top, curtains black and floor full of dust and hair. Floors and curtains had literally turned black. The couple that manages the place are unfriendly people, not really belonging to the hospitality sector. Sorry to say, one of my worst stays to remember in Booking.com. They are guilty as well, to give some stars to this property. Not recommended stay.

Fabulous location & Deb &Rod were wonderful hosts. We loved our cabin right on the lagoon with a BBQ right beside us - our l'ils so enjoyed feeding the turtles.

It is a lovely setting by the lake. What we didn’t understand was why $5.00 something was added to our bill as a debit card fee.

Excellent location amongst small lagoons with wildlife surrounding the oldish bugalow cabin with the lagoon waters lapping the rear verandah- Turtles, ducks, swamp hens. all alined for their share of bird food ($2.00 a bag at reception) the kids were enthralled - Key to the bungalow gave access through a back gate to the local pub (also on trhe lagoon network) - Vehicle parked at the door of bungalow - All the faciolities of Hervey Bay were close and very handy from this location.

Spongy floor in the bathroom but everything work for a comfortable short stay.
