Base Serviced Apartments - Cumberland Apartments

Hmmm - opposite a pretty noisy drag club, and with the weather and no air conditioning we had a choice of boiling or noise. We went for the noise which persisted to the wee hours of the morning. This particular apartment had two rooms - one facing the street with the club, and one at the back of the building which was significantly quieter. We had teen kids with us, so they got the quiet room and we managed to sleep with the noise. Apartment was spotless and had all facilities we needed.

Hotellet hadde "glemt" at vi hadde gitt beskjed om sen innsjekk, så vi ble møtt med stengte dører når vi kom og måtte booke ett annet hotell for den første natten. Har diskutert med de siden, da vi ba om refusjon siden vi endte opp med å betale over £450 totalt for den første natta. Kommer definitivt ikke til å bruke de igjen!

Very nice comfortable apartment. It tended to be a bit noisy because of street noise but it was in a good location - up a side street off the main road next to a small pub. Super clean. Very lovely spacious rooms for the price. Warm and homely.

Buena ubicación céntrica, tranquilo. El departamento no tenía WiFi lo cual en estos tiempos es imprescindible. El apartamento estaba definido para 4 personas pero no había tal comodidad, era para tres personas. Por lo demás correcto. Mariela

We stayed at Base apartments as we were in town for a gig. They were amazing value for money, really clean and in a great location. You have to collect keys from a central office which is the only reason I gave a 4 not a 5, however this was close by so wasn't too inconvenient. This is a great budget place to stay, cheaper than any hotel we could find (that didn't look really grotty) and with the convenience of a kitchen etc - a really great find and we'll definitely stay again.

Great location, a little noisy at nite with bars nearby but not extreme. Beds are firm which I'm not used to. Not to many street lights which makes it dark looking when walking about. Apartment very clean n tidy. Glad it's over 25s only.

excellent location for Bars,restaurants, nightlife shopping etc etc ideal for couples and adults, not suitable for families as nightclubs next door on street. Stayed with four friends.. would highly recommend.. only issue why not issue each adult with a four digit number for keypad as only one fob key per room, makes it awkward for freedom of access when sharing.
