Helpfull and friendly staff. Clean rooms with TV. Hot water on demand. View from the window on brick wall. In late december cold in rooms.

Ok. Not that bad but need to improve their service and cleaning

Arrived quite late asked for 2 coffees which they gave us,on leaving they charged us 42 rupees when we booked out. First morning hardly any breakfast in dishes

Overall the hotel was good.More over the staff was understanding and very much co operative.Thumbs up for staff..

I have enjoy the room but lets say that the services and specially the car rent and the reception was not good ,like in my first day I'm asking the receptionist for car and he get it to me and he say that he will take a 600 R I'm saying OK but when I'm going back i have call radio taxi and the surprise is that he take only 330 R !!!!! this is one of situation but let me say that the room was good and the room services was kind But i won't book for this hotel again of course

Hotel Raj was my fist contact with India. They were very helpful to get around New Delhi. Their service was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. The manager, Vinod, and the Amir Khan, the travel agent, were very helpful in figuring out my way around India.

Room is clean and well decorated. Restaurant is not up to the mark.

I stayed 4 nights in October 2013. It is a good hotel for the price. The hotel staff and management are welcoming, professional and helpful. The general standard of cleanliness and maintenance is above average though the decor is a bit tired/grey. It felt a very safe retreat for a solo female traveller from the chaos of Arakashan Rd. I was pleased with the larger darker room at the rear of the building which I understand is quieter. I appreciated the solid door, very comfortable bed, good Wifi reception in room, and English TV channels. The rooms facing the street are sunnier but noisier. The buffet breakfast was a good start to the day with a range of Indian or Western foods. However I did not have much success with the room service meals though I very much enjoyed the meals and outlook from the roof terrace restaurant of the sister Hotel Aura across the road. I also recommend the travel desk in the hotel lobby for ITO - India Travel Organisers - who provided an excellent 3 week tour at short notice.

Earlier I was provided with 2 rooms on different floors, then they gave me on the same floor but the room room was suffocated and smelly. The exhaust was not working in the bathroom and they asked me to pay 500 extra for a 1000 Rs room to get rid of the things using AC. Whenever asked for water it never came unless I directly went down 2 floors to the reception. on the last day at night around 3 AM power went off in one of the rooms(in the suffocated and smelly room, hence no more fan) and it never came until I checked out. While checking my luggage waited for 2 hrs at the reception even when I checked in at 4PM instead of 12PM. The manager in the morning is not aware of the complaints done in the night and vice versa. After these complaints they are not even ready to cancel the booking for the last night. I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but I stayed there for 2 nights and I could nit stay there in the day time at all.

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks. Since I was working from our room, Internet was crucial and was 95% of the time stabile (which is excellent) with very good speed (~2Mb/s). We booked the cheapest standard room. It was clean, with the comfortable bed. The room size is ok. TV receiver didn't work but they fixed it right away. The food was excellent! The hotel staff really nice and professional. Keep in mind that Arakhashan road is very busy and noisy so ask for a quieter room if it is available or bring ear plugs. They also have a "travel department" which we didn't use but our friend did and she said that they are reliable and that she was very satisfied with the service, advice and booked tours. Everything was well organized and on time.
