"It want's to be chic but it's struggling"

we stayed there 3 nights before going on home. we got to the Raj early morning after a night bus from Rishikesh. there was early check-in only with added fee. we got to the room and the sheets were very dirty. they did how ever replaced them right away upon asking. electricity goes and comes randomly about 2 times a day. hotel restaurant crew is lacking proficiency, took for 2 coffees 15 minutes while we were the only people in. the design is comforting a bit. location is close to main bazar and good local restaurants.

"Very supportive front office staff"

Very helpful front office staff. Clean and comfortable room. Fast wifi (free) and also DTH TV! They provided kettle etc. for making tea in the room. Also room service food price was reasonable and quite tasty. Breakfast was quite limited (not included in my booking). Only disappointment was that I thought it was an AC room but found out that there was an extra charge of Rs.400/- for usage of AC. Of course it was not clear on the expedia website if it was AC or non AC - so it was a misunderstanding from my side. Location is OK for tourist tho its very crowded, dirty and messy on Akarshan Road, but thats Pahar Ganj - so I was prepared! Good for business travellers at that price.
