Friendly staff and well kept property. They could use more outlets in each room. They may need a little heating source in their rooms or maybe more blankets for cool nights. They did our laundry quickly for $25 (since we came back from zipping soaking wet).

This is a wonderful place! We stayed here 2 nights. It was near the Monteverde Cloud Forest. They have large bathrooms, free drying of wet cloths available with on site dryer, free breakfast daily and onsite restaurant and bar catering to many different tastes, staff were professional and courteous, within walking distance of bat jungle, and multiple restaurants and coffee shops

"Nice property in Monteverde"

We stayed here for one night to visit the cloud forest. I thought the staff and grounds were excellent. Staff was prompt and accommodating requests. Breakfast was good and we were able to have what we wanted. This property was close to the cloud forest and Santa Elena making it a good stop!

Highly Recommend ! Not for a long stay but a brief 1-3 nights is fine. The grounds are immaculate and well maintained.staff is super friendly and hospitable-especially, Abby! We were glad we picked this stay and would return.

"Gorgeous property and very comfortable and quiet."

Gorgeous property and very comfortable beds. Quiet, too. Great breakfast - large spread buffet - the typical Costa Rican fare and fabulous coffee. Only had one night but would have loved to stay another. It is right in the cloud forest. What more could one want?

"Gate 1 trip"

We stayed here with our tour with Gate 1 ,what a great gem in the mountains. The rooms ate spacious and very clean . The staff is wonderful and so helpful. We aye dinner in the restaurant wow the seabass and filet was out of this world . This is a great place to recharge and relax. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Highly recommended

The hotel environment was beautiful, but the room was too small with nothing except a coffee machine. We also experienced a short period of outage, due to the strong rain and wind . We didn’t prepare for this and got a little panic.
