Castle Lodge Hotel

The hotel was great. The staff were professional and friendly. Rooms were clean and covid precautions were adhered to. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The photo is deceiving due to my room was on the second floor including additional steps in the bedroom to use the bathroom in the attic. Lots of difficult stairs when aged 76. The furnishings are old and tired.

We were welcomed warmly and the breakfasts were excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable with a very large bed and decent shower. Evening meals were good, well cooked and plentiful.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Very friendly attentive hosts, beautifuly furnished room and fabulous breakfast- with a special mention for the superb, locally sourced bacon.

Wonderful location to see Ross on Wye and surrounding areas. The hotel was clean, bright and spacious. The host was perfect. All facilities were to a high standard and the on site restaurant and breakfast were to a very high standard. We will definitely re-book. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in

the code for the wifi did not work, we were without internet access for the whole stay

The Castle Lodge Hotel is a Georgian building with character (including squeaky floorboards). The hosts are excellent and the food and service at this traditional country hotel are good.

A great place to stay if fishing on the Wye or exploring the wonderful countryside. Fantastic service, nothing was too much and the food was great in both taste and value. Will be back next year.

The staff were excellent, very friendle and attentive. Evening meal was very good, with a varied menu and breakfast also very good. The building was very old, with steep stairs and low ceilings. It was in need of redecoration and could do with deep cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay in a convenient location with a helpful and friendly host.

Lovely place to stay, great food, comfortable and clean rooms.The hosts made us feel very welcome. The location was ideal with plenty of parking space. Would definitely stay again.
