Lovely modern room. Hotel accommodated my special request which was really kind of them.

Lovely hotel, great food and a good nights sleep

Great friendly place with good food and very comfortable. Could have done with a better shower but nice bath which I needed aftwr a longer cycle. Owner was very accomodating, letting me keep bike indoors despite wet.

Needed a couple of days relaxation and it was just the place for it, food was fantastic and the the hosts Helen and her Dad were inviting and friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was fine and bed was very comfy. First night there was an issue with the Gas in the kitchen so the dinner was cancelled but all guests were booked in elsewhere and we were even given a lift, we ate in the 2nd night and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Our room was disappointing. 1. No bath tab, shower only. The door keep coming off. 2. Sink is in the room not inside bathroom. 3.fire exit sign on the door. So, when an emergency incident happened, everyone run through our room!? 4. The carpet in the bathroom was very old. 5. Breakfast room, ceiling was leaking. 6. I can hear foot steps above or outsides. I woke up middle of the night by that. But, I enjoyed fresh strawberries and cooked English breakfast every day.

Lovely stay, the room was lovely and the building in is quirky. The staff were very accomodating and even had gluten free bread for my breakfast. Only a 10 minute walk to town along the river (and up a hill). Only issue for me was there was only a bath and no shower attachment so had to go old skool with a jug to wash my hair but that was ok for a few days. Overall, lovely stay and would recommend
