"Lovely hotel "

Lovely little hotel, very lovely staff. Everything was lovely, but odd smell in main areas,?? Carpet is very old.

"Loved my very short stop over - great room and delicious food."

Rooms were comfy, clean and the shower worked and lots of hot water!!

Not a problem, just an observation, so don't let that put you off staying at The Abbey Hotel. Parking is in the main town car park (Mount Street) - its only a very short walk and certainly not expensive.

Such a beautiful pub with comfortable rooms. Staff were ever so welcoming and the room was spacious and clean. Was very surprised with my stay there even though it was just for one night. The breakfast was amazing too, cooked to order!

A friendly welcome, a comfortable bed, a fabulous breakfast! The room was pretty small (it was difficult to get round the bed) but the shower room was a decent size and the shower was very good.
