The Abbey Hotel

This is a pub with rooms that exceeded our expectations. It is much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. Our bedroom was nicely and individually decorated. Dinner in the bar in the evening was tasty. The staff were clearly under pressure because of a large function taking place that evening but they were friendly and attentive.

The price for bed and breakfast was quite steep for the facilities provided.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

lovely friendly place where dogs are made very welcome too. Plenty to choose from on restaurant menu and food was good too. There is even a dog menu for spoilt pooches. our dog was very happy with his sausages.

Nice room, friendly, helpful and efficient staff, and very tasty food. Good central location in Battle with a great view from my room. 🙂👍

There was nothing about my stay that I disliked.

Nice good value place to stay, the bed was massive and comfortable also which is a bonus

We were very disappointed with the evening meal. And the breakfast was not great.
