Mill End Hotel

We stayed here for just one night DB&B. It was exceptionally good in every respect! We hope to return for a longer stay soon.

We had another enjoyable stay at Mill End for New Year. It’s relaxed atmosphere, high level of service, comfortable rooms, wonderful food and wine have kept us returning for over 25 years. We thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at The Mill End Hotel for 3 nights and had a really lovely stay. The staff we all so friendly and our accommodation was beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious. Can thoroughly recommend.

Very comfortable, unfussy hotel in beautiful countryside. Not sure who enjoyed themselves more - us or our dog, it was spoiling for us all. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff who made us so welcome (and we were part of a large group. Delicious, tasty dinner (at a sensible price) and first rate breakfast that set us up for the day. Highly recommend.

We stopped at the hotel over Christmas, our 5th visit there. It is just such a lovely place, not fussy, but the rooms are very comfortable & the standard of food is just amazing. Also such friendly & helpful staff. Amazing walks from the doorstep so once you arrive there can just relax & enjoy. Have already booked for next Christmas

A fabulous hotel in a quiet location with easy access to various walks. The standard of the accommodation is first class but what sets this hotel apart from many others are its staff, food and how incredibly dog friendly it is. We stayed over the New Year for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. It’s not the first time we have been there and many of the guests were regulars like us which speaks volumes as to why the place is so popular. I highly recommend this place whether you’re dog owners or not.

A truly wonderful country hotel. Rooms are lovely and immaculate, food delicious, staff amazing. It’s how country hotels used to be before they all built spa and wedding venues!

Cannot recommend high enough, food excellent, high quality , especially vegetarian options, stayed a few days, had a different menu each night, not like similar hotels. Separate Dog friendly dining room. Will be back. Footpaths for dog walking from the hotel. Rooms excellent, clean and well equipped, garden rooms lead out to the gardens Fridge in room, dog treats etc would definitely recommend

We stayed at the Mill End Hotel for a short break before Christmas and it was amazing. We were welcomed on arrival by a member of staff and shown to our room. Very comfortable it turned out to be. We dined in the restaurant that evening and also breakfast the next morning. Both meals were excellent. Amazing Chefs. We were made to feel welcome during our stay and really enjoyed all the Christmas decorations on display. We will certainly be returning in the New Year.

A joyful few days from beginning to end. Excellent staff, good facilities. Dogs very well catered for as well. Rooms clean and comfortable. Dining experience majestic. No issues with any of the meals, breakfast or dinner. Attention to detail by staff for an allergy was great and only had to state it once on the booking form and no one needed reminding. A lovely stay.
