Mill End Hotel

It's the first time we have stayed at this hotel, but it won't be the last. No complaints at all, we would highly recommend.

Our third visit - did not disappoint! Warm welcome. Comfortable room. As a vegetarian although only one option the food is well cooked and delicious.

Our fifth trip to Mill End and, once again, we could not fault it. The staff, food, accommodation and location are all excellent. We took friends with us this time who were delighted with their stay. We will be back

First time visit to Mill End Hotel. It was just perfect, The Hotel & rooms were excellent, staff incredibly kind & helpful. Restaurant food was exceptional with high class produce. Highly recommend a visit, the additional area of Chagford & Dartmoor are just beautiful

Mill End is rhe quintessential English country inn! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, food was excellent, rooms comfortable - all and all, a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for outdoor activities, and the village of Chagford is within walking distance, and worth visiting! I plan on returning to Mill End!

This was our second stay at the Mill End Hotel as an overnight on the way to our holiday destination and it was superb. Staff were very helpful and so accommodating towards our whippet who lapped up the fuss made of her. Service, absolutely second to none without being intrusive. The chef should be knighted. This will be a regular stopover for us. We’ll be back next June.

Ruffles and I returned for the third time this year and can’t wait to rebook similar for next. This beautiful hotel is so very welcoming, comfortable and a 5 Star find. Catering fantastically for Ruffles with a bed, bowl and box of goodies upon arrival, even a yummy sausage at breakfast. We stayed in another extremely comfortable super doggy friendly room with patio for my painting and steps onto the garden for ball chasing and generally relaxing. River walks immediately on the doorstep so actually no need to use the car if you don’t want to - we don’t. Food was stunning as per usual, big thank you for the best ever cauliflower soup. A fabulous menu choice every evening with something for everyone. Leaving the biggest THANK YOU to ALL the staff, the friendly regular faces and a couple of young new ones who fit in perfectly. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone makes you feel a friend. We will return and I’ll book as soon as I have arranged time off from work for next year. Thank you everyone - loved it as usual xx

This was our second visit and every bit as good as the first. Super staff - helpful and friendly, excellent food with a changing menu each day. Well equipped, clean and comfortable bedroom. The hotel is particularly welcoming to canine companions with a large exercise field and even a supply of towels to clean off any muddy paws. We just love this hotel and have already booked a third stay next year.

I had like always a wonderful stay including delicious breakfast and dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will return.
