Villa Olea

I spent quite a bit of time in the hotel room with my girlfriend and although not as plush or scenically located as some hotels it was excellent value for money and the staff were all friendly and spoke English well.

This was our second stay at Villa Olea. The location is perfect, the room spotlessly clean and the staff amazingly pleasant and helpful. Vera knows all about the best restaurants and will happily book a table for you.

Pretty decent location about 3 minute walk to the main tourist sites in split and about 5-7 to the sea. WiFi speed was decent. Room had no fridge. Although actually a hotel sort of felt like an apartment as you enter the main entrance of the hotel with the key or by knocking and the hotel is a converted apartment all located on the first floor. You have your own bathroom. Hotel service was great and very helpful and friendly. Downside is the limited reception hours opens at 08:00 I believe up until 22:00

A great place to stay, really convenient for everything but in a quiet location. No food available due to local legislation, but countless places to eat and drink within minutes of the hotel so this really isn't a problem. There is even a small supermarket right next door. If you are in Split you don't want to spend your holiday inside a hotel anyway!

Booked this place using the filter that says parking is available. When we arrived we are told there is no parking and we would have try and find overnight parking as the hotel is located in a no parking unless doing deliveries area. All the parking in the surrounding area is free until 7pm then you must start buying tickets at 5 Kuna per hour. After driving around and asking locals we found an underground park which was 3 blocks away but cost 20 euros per day. I hope the hotel has adjusted their listing. The hotel location is excellent as it is 100 meters from the palace. The room was okay but better could be found for the same money,

Literally just outside of old town this room offers friendly service and a great location for travellers who are new to split. The woman at reception was more than helpful. The room adjoins the lobby area which can be noisy when people are entering and exiting but this did not detract from our experience as it wasn't that much of an issue.

We had a great stay. This room is 1 block away from the Old City. It was quite spacious, extremely clean and had very powerful AC (a must for Croatia in the summer). The bed was very comfy. The staff were helpful. Highly recommend.

Very clean, nice hotel. Photos on expedia dont do the justice. Close to palace and centre of city. Overall quiet, no noise from the street, however some noise from upstairs offices woke me up in the morning. Very helpfull friendly staff. Overall we enjoyed it and would reccommend it.

The staff were very friendly. Location was great. Everything you needed was provided in a small space. Although they provide you with a kettle there were no tea or coffee sachets or a small fridge for your milk.
