Excellent for the price,will book again when I go to Bangor. Top notch breakfast,lovely comfortable room.

It is fairly basic, which is all I needed. The shower wasn't all that powerful, but it was good enough. I borrowed the iron and there was a kettle etc. It is very definitely value for money. It was clean and in a quiet location. My room was in the top corner furthest from the bar, so I didn't get any noise, but any of that would stop fairly early anyway. Good choices for breakfast. In particular, I had given the hotel a heads up that I am autistic and sight impaired, and they were extremely helpful - checked mobility/stairs before the stay, put me in the quietest corner and described door keys, made sure I got the right breakfast table and kept it in the same place for my stay of 3 nights. I would absolutely recommend.

It was good value for money. If you just need a room to crash for a night when you're seeing friends or going on a night out, then this place is ideal.

Last minute booking for work. Good check in. Room was average at best and very dated. TV only worked on 3 channels. Ordered breakfast on arrival at a set time. Toast came out moldy which hardly fills you with faith about the rest of the breakfast. Good Wifi for work purposes was the highlight. Disappointing but cheap!

Room offered was 2nd floor unable to use stairs

A superb dog friendly hotel right next to Bangor University. We stayed with our two greyhounds whilst visiting my son. Super Service throughout our stay nothing was to much trouble . I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you are travelling with your dogs.

Food was poor on our first night stay, we never ate there after that. Room was 'tired' and needs update, mould and damp behind chair. Shower took a long time to warm up. Staff were friendly. Very noisy on the weekend with music and people shouting, especially the guest staying there. Unlikely we would stay there again.

Very friendly people but the condition of the room was little to be desired: 1 - Shower was very weak and low and seemed to take an age to warm up 2 - Lighting in the bathroom was poor as there was a light missing and taped up on the wall. 3 - Tea making facility in the room had no spoons to stir or remove tea bags etc... 4 - No handle on the external door (No 9) to get in or close the door (had to let it close on its own) Lets end on a possitive: 1 - Comfortable bed 2 - Big spacious room 3 - Food was good in the restaurant

Bathroom had live cables accessible by hand and was being held together with masking tape. Views from bedroom were nice but overall the hotel has been neglected and was in need of a good clean

Disappointed, I stepped out of my car onto broken pint glasses. The menus were very sticky so decided to eat out. Very expensive pub b&b and loud, I stayed on a weeknight but was still awoken at 330am by students.
