The room was OK. It had obviously been renovated some time ago, but was beginning to show creeping age with wobbly bath fittings and mismatched taps. But these small things were forgivable because the food was outstanding. I would have been happy to eat food that good in a five-star hotel.

I expected car parking at the hotel, but the car park was full, despite arriving mid-afternoon. Street parking was available opposite the hotel for £11, which had to be paid in cash. Who carries cash these days? I don't! So, I had to drive around until I found a spot in a back street and convince myself that I enjoyed the walk back to the hotel carrying my bags and computer in the rain. It was a warm day, and the room was uncomfortably warm with no air conditioning to help out.

We booked this hotel for 1 night because we were house viewing in Norfolk the whole day First of all when we arrived I ordered drinks the barman gave me 3/4 of a pint of lager when I asked him if he could top the lager up he said it's the shape of the glass an that's how it comes 1/4 of the pint was froth We went to our room it was small Very undated We was above the kitchen Pots banging people talking up till 11 pm And to top it of next door left telly on all night The room was so hot we had to leave window open the room never had a fan Pigeons nesting near window roof making noise Also there was a motorised boiler or something making a noise all night We did not sleep at all We left early hours in the morning

Clean, great staff, lovely pool and steam room, 5 min walk to central Yarmouth.
