The Birley Arms Hotel

I booked 2 rooms for Wed 23 aug. Rooms were comfortable and amenities plentiful. Reception and staff very welcoming and the food delicious. Can definitely recommend the Birley Arms Hotel and will happily stay again. Thank you.

The room was a annexe an extension of the main building noisy tv channels not good Wi-Fi useless

Booked 3 rooms for Mon and 2 rooms for Wed. Hotel and staff were very accommodating. my engineers said the rooms were lovely, food too. Nice location and would happily stay again. Thank you too for letting them leave one of their vehicles overnight whilst they were in Scotland. Really appreciate it.

Lovely little pub/hotel with an excellent restaurant. Good selection of ales. I was greeted by a very friendly young man with a trouble free and efficient check in at the bar. The room itself perhaps a little old but nothing that detracted from our stay. Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile by a very [l;easnt lady. Check out was as equally as efficient as the check in, We were visiting people holidaying at Ribbey Hall which is just round the corner so very convenient.

Everything great until I tried to check out. Although I had already paid Expedia & my card debited. Hotel said they had NO payment so I had to pay again. WHATIS GOING ON

One night stop over - Service was superb from the first welcome when we checked in at the bar. Room had everything we needed and was clean and well presented. Bed wasn't quite as comfortable as our one at home however that personal choice. Food choices in the restaurant really good and very reasonable. If we visit the area again will definitely stay here again. We paid £80 for B&B for two of us, which included a lovely full freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choices.

Comfortable but noisy. We stayed on a Saturday night and the guys in the room next to us got back from their night out at midnight and decided to turn the music up and have a loud conversation. Not to mention going outside evey five minutes to have a cigarette which was accompanied by the door slamming behind them evey time. This lasted for about an hour.

Needed a hotel close to the golf at Birkdale. Birley Arms fitted the bill. Room was of good size and reasonably well equipped. Shower would have been better with more water pressure and the mattress could have been firmer. Food was really good value although it was a surprise to find last orders for dinner were at 20:30. No choices for breakfast but the full English was good. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent welcome, very comfortable room and spotlessly clean. Smashing breakfast too, all served with a smile. Would definitely stay here again.
