Very welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable bed and excellent standard of refreshments provided in room. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of fresh local produce. We will definitely recommend it to others.

"Simply Excellent"

10.0

We had had some difficulty booking a room for one night in the Aberdeen area on our way further north so Kildrummy was something of a shot in the dark. We were delighted and would go back tomorrow! Everything about this small hotel speaks of attention to detail, the highest standards combined with a friendly welcoming manner from everyone. Our bedroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable, there were comfortable armchairs as well as tea and coffee making things. The highlight was the food. We had dinner and our meal was outstanding - way beyond our wildest expectation of a country inn. The standard of cooking was superb. One of the owners looking after the bar before dinner spotted a quiet celebration and our dessert had birthday greetings written in chocolate. Superb! Its

"WOW - we want to go again and again"

10.0

Expected an ordinary B&B - but found a gem -- super friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. Food has to near the top of the review - we booked based on location so to find 'fine dining' was a real bonus. Breakfast was "quality" - fantastic choice for a small B&B. Book ahead for the evening meal - the restaurant is much bigger than the B&B but very popular. Portions are not huge - but every mouthful is to savour. Easy to see why the Chef has so many awards. When you get up from the table you feel completely satisfied and can drift into the lounge bar and slump into the big chairs. For a whisky drinker the bar could take a very long time. Something makes all the guests want to chat - one evening we thought it was getting near 11 - to find it was well after midnight. When we had to leave early for the airport we got a knock on the door to check we were up - and breakfast !! at 5am.

"Great Scot!"

10.0

We showed up about three hours early with our two small kids. They let us check in and took great care of us while we were there... Great location, the castle right down the street was a perfect way to spend the afternoon

"restaurant with rooms!"

2.0

Arrived to find restaurant and bar closed on Tuesday!! Room just big enough to swing a cat in - shame I didn't have a cat as it could have just chased the birds away that were lodging outside the window in the 2 nests against the windows! Great night sleep with birds tweeting , not! No chance of a return visit

"Great food and service"

10.0

Our room at the Kildrummy Inn was small but very clean & comfortable, the situation was perfect for castle/garden visiting in Aberdeenshire and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The owners were very welcoming and all awards are well-deserved.
