The Lugger Inn

Shower head no pressure, bathroom door stuck. Pillows were insubstantial, staff surly. Parking chaotic and unclear. Breakfast greasy. Great view of the promenade.

Location is brilliant. Room was clean and simple. Wasn't noisy (despite being part of a pub/restaurant) – bar the seagulls, which are a given when you stay on a seafront!

We have just visited the Lugger Inn after visiting Lands End & Penzance for the day. The two staff on duty (Megan & Finlay) were friendly, helpful and welcoming, with nothing too much trouble for them. We ordered drinks and then stayed for a meal and I'm so glad we did. The food was excellent with generous portions and reasonably priced. So if you you fine yourself in Penzance looking for somewhere to eat i would thoroughly recommend popping into the Lugger Inn!

Lovely view and comfy bed however over priced for the standard of accommodation. Hotel needs updating

Food fantastic. I had the crab gratin and following night we opted for the seafood chowder……WOW is all I can say. Absolutely amazing and great value for money

Great staff and location

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, although the toilet/shower was very "compact". A person larger than myself may've struggled in here. It is in a good location on the promenade, close to the Jubilee outdoor pool and only 15-20 walk to town or the rail/bus station. There is a bus stop close by. It's a lovely walk along the promenade, offering good views of St. Michael's Mount. The breakfast was ok. Not the best I've ever had but a long way from being the worst. Would I stay here again? For sure.

The location is the single premium aspect of this place. Réception, rooms, shower are of minimal quality. Breakfast is below minimal quality

Great outdoor seating area with comfortable chairs. A lovely view of the promenade and a great place to watch the world go by. A very warm welcome by Megan with a big smile and a cheery hello. A great choice of cakes, we chose an apple crumble which was served with hot custard and a big raspberry and white chocolate cookie both of which were delicious. Nicely presented and washed down with good coffee.
