Ensuite bathroom was clean, with a hot shower. Towels and bedsheets were clean. Pillows and bed were comfortable. The location in Canterbury town centre was convenient. It was also relatively quiet.

There was no heating available during our stay. The radiator valve was open, but the thermostat must have kept the heating off. The extra fan heater did not work properly and could not provide heat. Having left the building, the manager did not reply to a later text from us requesting the heating to be turned on.

I was annoyed that the lane wasn't marked at one end so I had trouble finding it. The staff wasn't prompt opening the locked door when I arrived and seemed in a hurry to leave. The hot water didn't work in the sink. The room was cold and the TV didn't work. There was a scaffolding platform outside my window which felt unsafe, like my room could be accessed. The bed was clean but uncomfortable and the rug on the floor was stained and filthy. I could also hear my neighbour peeing in their bathroom and people speaking in the hall sounded like they were right inside your room.

Ideal location very clean comfortable room good bathroom facilities.

Walls were a bit thin so could slightly hear neighbours voices

Great value for location, right in the heart of the city, close to everything! Clean and comfy. Will definitely come again.

The hotel didn't do breakfast (as far as I know) but we were close to the city so went out it. The tea and complimentary biscuits were lovely though.

The flusher on the toilet was a bit awkward to use. I even thought it was broken at first but we got it to work after multiple attempts.
