The bed in a single room was big, the pillows were comfortable, there was also a radiator which was convenient for someone who wasn’t used to the British weather, there was a mini fridge and TV. The location was comfortable, 1km away from the railway station. There were no staff members available but check-in and out was easy and explained in an automated message. There was a huge wardrobe and drawers. There was a breakfast and a kettle available with lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate packets, along with milk, some bread, honey, jam and a cup with a spoon.

The bathroom had no lights, as they had been broken by someone else. The faucet was on/off only and would pour a large amount of water. The drawers were loose, along with the towel holder and shower head. The door was hard to close as it required a specific placement. The rooms were really next to each other so you could hear noises from other people.

Bedside light had fly trap with flys stuck to it, hairs in sink and bedside light, marks on pillow, bread left on bedside table for breakfast gone mouldy, microwave had mouldy food stuck inside , breakfast consist of 2pieces of bread, cereal and milk in bedroom, would not recommend to anybody, please stay away from this location

It was cheap and not too far out from the centre of Lincoln (for me) and not too far from the Bomber Command Memorial either.

the Breakfast was a bit odd - Bread but no toaster, cereal but no bowls to put it in - luckily there were big mugs! everything else was fine apart from that.

Idea of checking in system.

We liked the idea of accommodation that you could access whenever you liked and the system of being provided a code to a key safe to get your room key was perfect for our circumstances. We had informed the owners that we would be arriving late though this wasn't meant to be an issue with such a checking in system. However, on arrival we found our key safe to be empty. We tried contacting the "24 hour number" multiple times but to no avail. It was getting later, approaching 1 in the morning, so it seemed the best options were to sleep in a car or actually head home. Just as we decided all was lost we received a call to say the maintenance man would be on his way to assist. What should have been an easy fix was a calamitous experience as after half an hour we finally got a spare key to our designated room only to access and find someone else in it! Cue another amount of time wasted finding an alternative room-a twin rather than the double booked. By this time it was nearly 2 in the morning. Even the maintenance guy was bemused by it all and struggled finding a solution. So it was nice to enjoy a twin room, not booked, for a minimal number of hours sleep and with the worst mattress ever with springs emitting sounds with every turn and every passing vehicle being audible it was such a comfortable night's sleep(!) Despite phone calls from the owner and a lacklustre apology, there was no offer of recompense. I understand you get what you pay for but I'm not sure it would actually be worth that.

I liked the location and in terms of getting in and out of the property was rather easy

I didn't like the light in the bathroom in with the support for the light on the ceiling was handing out the roof on a wire very concerned but lucky was just an overnight stay. On information regarding quiet hours after 10pm in which I was doing my up most to follow this yet seemed other visitors didn't listen to that and was unable get to sleep till 3 in the morning luckily I wasn't heading home till late afternoon so was able to get some extra rest at friend's I came to Lincoln to visit
