Good value for money and free parking

Issues checking in with finding room number

This is our second stay at the Tennyson but this time we booked the studio en-suite (before it was a double room),the room was large and spacious with a separate kitchen area and the bathroom and toilet was in a separate area. The facilities included were adequate for 2 people including tea and coffee ingredients This room also comes with a parking space which is handy.

I will be perfectly honest and say that the room was like the double room furnished with very basic equipment but it serves it purpose. The room does have a musky smell about it but not overwhelming and on a negative side there wasn’t a tea towel to use in the kitchen area and we were left with insufficient toilet paper but luckily we had a roll in our car. The main problem we found was after searching all the main building for our room we had to ring the number they supplied to find our room was separate around the back so maybe clearer instructions would be helpful

The property was in a prime location for us as it was a 5 minute walk to our destination The room was basic but clean and comfortable and very good value for the price we paid This property has a good dining area for everyone’s use if you bring food into it for personal consumption

I was surprised by the instructions ie the entrance door as on my booking email it’s not clear you have to use the door handle and not the small numbered key boxes on the wall and the guest information in the rooms need updated as the example of the wi fi information was different to again the email booking info

Location. Value for money and it has all u need

Early checkin 30 mins before was £50 but I only paid £43 for the room so this dodnt make much sence

We ended getting cooked breakfast but was plenty to eat . Room could do with noise blocking out because of busy roads, and few repairs needed the door to toilet was hanging off , and the tv remote we tried to turn volume down but it was set at certain volume.

Noisy roads outside, and location little far for walking to town.

Nice place clean and amazing

Continuous traffic noise ALL night which the manager knew about as ear plugs were left in a drawer! Small room and a tiny toilet/shower ensuite. Told there was designated parking on property which there wasn’t - so first come first served.
