Comfy bed and clean facilities

Took me over an hour to gain access No WiFi Shower either scolding hot or cold

Easy to find, parking allocated to your room, even though it's a bit tight. Easy to use system to get into the room. Room was basic, but had everything we needed for our nights stay. Was clean and bed was comfortable. Had a settee in the window nook, so somewhere to sit. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided, and a TV, though we didnt use it so no idea if it worked or not. Great no frills accommodation near to town. Don't think this accommodation would be suitable for the less mobile due to stairs, tight parking and generally, no adaptions unless there was another side to the building that we didnt see.

Shower could have been a bit hotter and a better shower head as it came out like drizzle.

Handy location. Nice & clean room.

Took a bit of time to workout how to get in the building at first.

Good location for the football ground, and near buses, shops, etc. Fridge in the room was handy and breakfast items were left in it for me.

Gaining access was very stressful, ended up having to call booking.com (good service when called), never really got the hang of getting in to the property and then my room, which created some tension at the end of each evening, i.e. wondering whether I'd be able to get in or not. No staff at the property to talk to. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were virtually hanging off. Shower took a long time to warm up. Window blinds were completely inadequate, i.e. didn't keep sun out in morning. No way of controlling heat in room, so generally too hot.

The hotel itself, room wise I could not fault. It was clean and presentable. Bu unfortunately this is where the positive comments end.

The information sheet was slightly incorrect but a phone call to request the correct Wifi password sorted the only information out that we really needed which was sent by WhatsApp - which I didn't realise at the time would be useful (the contact number) later. My daughter and I stopped here as she had an Offer Acceptance day @ Lincoln Uni and we wanted to be fresh faced and fully awake that morning after - was not to be. Unfortunately, of no fault of the hotel, 3 teenagers were in the room next door and from 10pm (the hotels advertised "quiet" time) they started playing loud music and raised voices. At midnight it did not stop, I tried to contact the Hotel Property Managers but to no avail so I sent a WhatsApp - the only reply I got was to ask what room number. At 2am I had to go round and confront the noisy neighbours which was intimidating, they turned the music down for half hour. From 3am to 6am I tried, with no luck to contact the hotel and the music and general noise continued till just after 6am - we had to be up and out at 7am. The only contact I had from the hotel was when I sent a message of disappointment and request for a refund - to which they replied you have to go through your booking agent. I did - the booking agent (Booking.com) couldn't get hold of the hotel and offered me £8 refund!!!! So overall, hotel room great however do not expect any form of customer service or assistance especially when needed.

Unsafe door to bathroom, electric cable exposed, shower didn't work. Bedside light didn't work. Fridge noisy but empty. Traffic noise. Building felt unsafe.
