The property is situated on the seafront , only a short walk from the station and town centre , far enough away from the pier not to be noisy, the seaview from the balcony is superb , see the sunrise and watch the world go by!

Very friendly and helpful hosts, pleasant decor, spotlessly clean. Complimentary homemade cake each afternoon was delicious as well as unexpected.

The Seaview Sanctuary is just that, a place of sanctuary in Eastbourne. The seaview was amazing. The welcome was warm and friendly. Very approachable. They were on hand if you needed it. There was plenty of tea's and coffee or hot chocolate and homemade cakes readily available. A continental breakfast is available on request.

Everything about Seaview Sanctuary is top-notch. From the hosts, Rich and Katie, to the property itself. They are ever-so friendly and welcoming; nothing is too much trouble for them. They make you feel right at home. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy and the room that I had has the added bonus of having a balcony. You can sit out there and look over to the beach/sea - most pleasant and inviting view. The room is well appointed. The bed and bedding most comfortable. There is nothing to dislike about the property or room.

Fantastic place to stay,do not hesitate to book a sea view room with balcony. We were at the top, great views, 10/15 min walk into the town centre. There is a bar just across the road and another just a bit further down, 5 min walk away. Both of these serve breakfast if you do not want the continental on offer at Seaview. We found a lovely cafe in the town for breakfast called Bangers and Mash. Lovely food and includes drink and toast. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Katie bakes fresh cakes daily which are available free of charge in the conservatory where you can also get a hot drink to go with it. Our room was perfectly fine for the 2 of us, an added touch was a pair of binoculars so you can look out to sea. Mini fridge with milk and bottled water, if you need more just ask. Bathroom was quite big and the shower was pretty good aswell. There is a bath but neither of used it prefer a shower.All the toiletries are provided aswell. There are also a few local shops and takeaways about a 5 min walk away which includes a Sainsburys Local if you need any groceries. The bus stops are right outside the hotel aswell if you need them. We will be returning for a longer stay as sadly we only had 2 nights here.

Didn't affect us but just a warning there are a lot of stairs and no lift,so sadly no good if stairs are a problem. I did notice a couple of rooms on the ground floor though.
