The George Country Inn, Wath

The property was a lovely furnished and cosy interior. The restaurant and bar was inviting and bedrooms were comfortable, well stocked and clean. The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection of hot food to choose from in the morning of our stay.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

An immaculately clean & tastefully designed pub. The food was lovely especially the breakfast & the staff were all helpful & friendly. Great location with free parking. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent location for exploring North Yorkshire. Set in a tranquil village just off the A1 the inn was ideal for our overnight needs; close to Ripon, quiet, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and excellent food. There was a good range of beers and we thoroughly enjoyed Fish and Chips Friday - beautiful fish and chips for £12!!

Great breakfast and lovely staff, quiet, clean room. Evening meal : good plentiful pub food.

Our landrover had difficulty fitting round the corners into the carpark. Really needs a slimmer smaller vehicle. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience.
