GBLocation is very central, great walking and Cragside nearby, . Staff fine, breakfasts EM good, wellpriced. Can have hostel or B& B accommodation.
Needs some TLC of decor & modernisation in parts.although clean. Still great for groups, EM & staff

FRLe petit-déjeuner était correct et copieux.
Il faisait très froid (15-16 degrés) dans la chambre, le couloir et la salle de bain commune, ce qui était très inconfortable. Nous n'avons pas pu nous doucher car la douche ne fonctionnait pas (les pannes peuvent arriver mais j'ai regardé les commentaires une fois rentrés et le problème était déjà là plus d'un mois avant notre séjour!!). Les chambres ont besoin d'un rafraîchissement, tout était très vieillot et passé. Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'était.

Smelly room. Only one man running whole hotel busy bar so we stood waiting over half an hour to get checked in. Had to stay elsewhere as the room was damp. No compensation whatsoever for the fact we were left stranded having to look for new accommodation .
