Lovely friendly pub, very comfy bedroom. Staff were amazing , could not do enough for you. Excellent food , both at breakfast and on an evening. Will definitely visit again.

Parking on site was a problem and street parking was a problem too with residents having no parking signs outside their houses. We found the room very good however the bed was uncomfortable for us.

Our stay began with delicious complimentary brownies at check in and it just got better and better. Fabulous large room (and bathroom), lovely decor throughout and well kept attractive outside areas. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was superb, along with all the meals we had. Best steak and ale pie ever! Fresh vegetables, beautifully cooked. So comfortable - great night’s sleep. Could not fault the Percy Arms and will go back. Lovely area within reach of both coast and country, and so much to see and do including Bamburgh and Alnwick.

My wife and I stayed here as a base for a few days in Northumberland. The hotel and bar are very comfortable and we found the staff to be nothing but kind, friendly and accommodating. The lady who waited on us for breakfast was very attentive and joked that in Northumberland they have a tendency to overfeed you….which she went on to do. We had dinner two nights and all the meals were very nice indeed and we shared our meals so we could get a taste of everything. Our room and en suite were very comfortable and generous size. Other guests seemed quite content and were quite happy to chat to each other. The whole place was neat, tidy and clean. I felt that I could have left my room door open and my stuff would have been safe. We’ll go back there.

A glorious country hotel. Everything you could wish for - great food, lovely accommodation and its all about the small details. Highly recommended!

The bedroom was very comfy & the soft furnishings were amazing throughout. The food was excellent, they’ve got a very good chef!!! And the portions were enormous!!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Percy Arms . The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was really enjoyable and nicely cooked . Maybe cereal and fruit etc should be freely available too rather than on request and also toast served with the cooked breakfast rather than having to ask for it . Otherwise a great stay .

Wonderful few days at The Percy Arms. The whole place looks newly renovated and has been tastefully done, with lovely colours and fabrics. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean, not often found! The food was so good we ended up eating here 3 nights and were not disappointed. We also felt very safe as residents ate in their own dining area which was rather nice in what was a busy and popular pub. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Altogether an enjoyable relaxing stay in a lovely country pub.

Very nice hotel off the beaten track. Staff very helpful and friendly. The quality of food was very good and plenty of it! Rooms clean and comfortable and for a pub quiet too .
