Lovely welcome. Great to soak in a fantastic bathroom after a days walking. Less good was no view and sound of generator in rear. Pub food good

Fantastic room and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Great breakfast. Ended up dining their both evenings. Food excellent but long wait between courses although could see were very busy. Excellent location and will definitely stay here again.

Perfectly adequate food and accommodation for our needs, seemed to have been recently refurbished with modern clean bedrooms and decent breakfast and dinner

Very good, mix up with my starter ( wrong dish ) which they realised later , rectified, no corkscrew behind bar so had to settle for any wine with a screw top lol , no brown sauce available with breakfast ? Apart from a few basic errors everything was great

Really great stay here. Good service and food, excellent value. Was really clean and well organised in terms of social distancing. Brilliantly dog friendly too.

We approached from the side car park & thought it didn’t look very good - HOWEVER inside is an amazing experience! We were taken to our room & all amenities explained to us. We we offered fresh milk and the array of teas/ coffee was far above usual supplied. The bathroom was lovely with huge shower & any toiletries you may have forgotten were supplied. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. An extra fan heater available should it be needed. The food in evening & breakfast next morning was faultless. Would rate this place far above many much larger hotels - well worth a visit and only a short detour from the A1

This is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere in the bar, friendly staff. Food was excellent in the bar and breakfast superb! Would recommend a stay here if in the area.

Just returned from a two night break at The Percy Arms and we have had a fantastic stay. The food is amazing and the staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend. Cant wait to return.
