Very friendly staff. Room was spotless.

When other guests enter and leave their rooms the locks can be quite noisy.

Location was excellent, 5 minutes from the town centre and directly opposite Dorchester Hospital where i need to visit. Clean, comfortable room that was right at the back of the pub, no noise from either the pub or the road. It was half the price of the premier inn and much better located - Premier Inn wanted over £130 for one night, don't pay it and choose smaller, independent pubs and hotels like this !

The only minor problem is parking. Because of the hospital all the roads around are resident permit controlled. It's not the Sydney Arms fault and you can park if you arrive late in the afternoon and then leave the next day before 11. You can park free but it's a 10 min walk.

Separated entrance and exit to the accommodation from the pub itself. Our room had an odd but surprisingly useful cloakroom square to leave shoes etc. maybe a motion led rechargable job would assist

Thin and narrow stairs and u bend curve may not be suitable for all. Didnt bother me. The initial door had the tendency to slow shut then slam at the last moment. Shower a shade over luke warm

Close to the hospital for work. Comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is my third visit, and I've always had an amazing stay! The staff welcomed me in an amazing, professional manner, and checking in was a breeze. The single room is spotless. Clean, tidy, and beautifully presented. It is a very quiet area, so you'll definitely enjoy a good night's sleep. The bed was nice and comfortable. The room came with a fan, which was efficient during the summer season. It kept me nice and cool, and was the perfect air conditioning for me. The Sydney Arms is an absolute MUST for everyone who wants to stay in Dorchester. Fantastic place to stay, followed by a brilliant selection of drinks and food. Thank you to the team for their amazing service, and making sure that my stay was a pleasant one. I will definitely come back for my fourth stay.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
