Lovely spacious accommodation which was perfect for our trip away. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, free parking, we would definitely recommend and we will return.

Blinds on the windows in the lounge area as this was also used as a sleeping area. But other than that everything was fab.

Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and it had a fridge. Parked in the lane behind the pub or in the Tesco carpark. Fish and chips next door or other food options within walking distance.

Family room no.2 faced the courtyard so there were smokers nearby. The noise from people talking and music playing until 11pm made it hard to get to sleep. Maybe ask for a room around the corner facing the other courtyard or back lane if you're staying with children.

Our train was majorly delayed to the point of being past check in time. The staff not only waited for us, they communicated promptly letting us know it was okay, and they gave us a free beer on arrival! The room and facilities were clean, comfortable and just as described. Huge thank you to the lovely staff that welcomed us! We will definitely stay with the Royal Oak again.
