Badala Park Hotel

Not a bad place to stay. My standard room consisted of two single beds pushes together, a fan and a toilet ans shower. No shower gel so get your own. Got a balcony where i did my workouts in the morning. WiFi hardly works in the E block i was staying and i had to come to the bar by the pool to use it. Somedays it was completely down. However it is strategically located. The Bertil Harding highway is up the road and you can be by kairaba avenue traffic lights in minutes abd senegambia strip in the opposite direction in minutes as well. Ill recommend staying here. Just don't bank on the wifi!

Generally mediocre for a lovely site. Most staff were friendly apart from a couple of rude ones. Ok if your looking for cheap accommodation and monkeys running across your roof in the morning waking you up.

This is a great place to come if you are package tourist on a budget as the rooms were very basic. I got to room & there was no mosquito net or fan so I had to back to reception to request a fan in which a maintenance person then needed to come to my room to install it. The beer prices were good & the food was okay. Very close to the beach.

I have stayed at this hotel several times only because of the staff. The rooms are very basic and in need of an upgrade and coat of paint. Facilities are non existent there is one bar open eleven hours and one restaurant open for breakfast only. Lunch and dinner is available but in the form of bar snack only. That said you have to remember that you are after all in the missle of the jungle with wild monkey running across the tin roof of your room being your early morning alarm call

Badala Park is a short 300 walk to the beach. The rooms can be quiet dark as the complex is surrounded by palm trees. You also get great wildlife, as you eat your breakfast you may see a monkey or 2. I was in B Block as the monkeys could be heard though the night running abount on the roof, especially if tou are on the upper floor - but you soon get used to it. Breakfast is ok where there is fruit, beans, sauages, mushrooms, toast, porridge and freshly coomed eggs. Mosquitoes were quiet active this time of the especially if you get some humid nights...take repelent. For eveing meals, I ended up next door as JD'S (Jim, David and Sharon) lovely family run restaurant with great food and entertainment.

We where moved from this hotel seeing how they were still refitting it after a 2 hour delay at the airport and then to arrive at the hotel all in darkness we at to find taxis to take us to the new hotel if we had bern informed beforehand we could have travelled straight there without ibcurring further costs for taxis

The hotel is simple and basic. Requires modernisation.

Vi bodde här i 2 veckor. Det är en låg standard på rummen och uselt wi-fi. Men ett plus att rummen städas varje dag och man får då även nya handdukar. Stor och bra golvfläkt vid sängen. Balkong som vette ut mot poolområdet. Lite tråkig pool för småbarn om man är kräsen. Serveringspersonalen var lite si och så, en del mycket professionella och en del som hasade benen efter sig. God mat och det finns personal i serveringen/baren hela tiden. Det finns en scen vid poolen där det är uppträdanden och musik alla kvällar utan söndag. Det anordnas även tävlingar, bingo o dyl där. Mycket trevlig eventpersonal! Vissa dagar spenderade vi bara på hotellet, men hälsade oftast på släkt/vänner i närområdet och besökte även marknader och krokodildammen.

We were there at the time when civil war could have broken out. the staff were very helpful under the circumstance. I have stayed there beforfe and will stay there again.
