The White House

Everything we were looking for. Quiet location close to the beach.

The White House is a well situated and appointed Hotel with a great host and fine breakfasts.

This was a lovely BnB to stay in. Breakfast was delicious. Room was to a beautiful standard with a lovely comfy bed. Lots of complimentary toiletries and a bath robe in the bathroom. Gardens were lovely. 10 minute walk into the old town. Friendly host. What more could you want?

Jason’s warm welcome, the comfort of our room, hot chocolate and marshmallows late in the evening and a delicious breakfast, made us feel so cosseted and relaxed that we plan to return for a longer stay.

We had a really amazing time in this hotel. Look forward to going back again in the future. The building is just beautiful. So much period features. Staff was kind, view is awesome!

Hotel was very clean, Owners very helpful polite, breakfast was superb, room fantastic with great views lovely and quiet would definatley be back.

Welcoming host. Nice touches such as fresh milk and access to drinks in the galley. Room was good but a little cramped. Breakfast was excellent. Shame about the weather.

Less than 3 years old as a hotel in an 1889 serious house and serious garden (with pool). Wonderful view. Marshmallows and hot chocolate from 8pm. If Jason's continuing improvements are as good as his poached eggs, this place will fly even higher. Unique already.

Enjoyable experience, very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend and definitely would come back.

wonderful warm, friendly and welcoming. beautiful room with a lush view! Hot chocolate waiting for late returns from a night out. Delicious cooked breakfast. Top notch and very polite service. Intimate and simply a lovely hotel in which to spend our anniversary. A trip to The Owl and the Pussycat for its friendly service and good food compliments this stay at the hotel. The hotel boasts a beautiful garden and we will be returning in the Summer! Situated in a very quiet area with easy access to the town centre; taxis from hotel to centre is very cheap! Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
