Beautiful hotel, helpful friendly staff, perfect location.

Nothing not to like.

Gorgeous location and the main areas of the hotel were well kept

Our room was dusty and dirty. It definitely needed a refresh and a good clean.

The location is gorgeous. Set out in a very small village but close enough to Keswick.

The bathroom felt dirty. There were cobwebs and a spider on our ceiling. The bottom of the shower door was covered in mould. The bathroom was also very small and the fixtures and fittings felt too big for the space

Brilliant, staff went above and beyond to facilitate sleeping arrangements at very short notice would highly recommend

A gem of a hotel in the most peaceful and beautiful spot.

One waitress spoilt the atmosphere for us. She must have been having a bad day - grumpy and wearing a ‘jobsworth’ attitude. Such a shame as everything else about our stay was perfect, as were her colleagues.

On arrival - reception blank, cold greeting. No helpful information. Just given the key to room.
