Ciriaco Hotel

The employee's are very friendly. But there foods are ver expensive.

Amenities and facilities needs maintenance. Still on top of my choices though.

Expected more since this is supposed to be the "premiere" option in Calbayog. The room itself was OK, but the bathroom had baby roaches and was in need of repair. The walls were not well taken care of, the floor board area had holes in it and the hot water did not work at all. The free breakfast was just that, free. Cold food, hot fruit and nothing at all special to speak of. Luckily the staff was friendly and did try to help me. I did not expect to have to stay here, really the free airport shuttle and last minute changes pushed me into this decision.

Stayed for ten nights staff were very kind and sweet and always helpful but on the last night I asked for a wakeup call but never happened. Also I got engaged and had my engagement dinner there about fifteen of us. We got a big cake for the staff. It would have been nice to get a upgrade to a better room Even just for one night after spending so much money there. Was thinking of having the wedding there but not sure. Its nice to be nice we always left tips and got cakes for all the staff.

Definitely going to stay there again. The food was excellent and every member of the staff was helpful and gracious. Treated us like family.

We had a large room overlooking the sea and with a small balcony - ideal for smokers!. Wonderful views of not so distant islands. Very large swing pool and reasonably clean. Good breakfast and food in the restaurant was good value.

Good hotel - Nice staff. No hot water in rooms. For a hotel that advertises itself as Samar's 'premier' boutique hotel it really should provide hot water in shower and bathroom.

Early check in was not a problem. Staff accommodating - always said 'yes'

The Ciriaco Hotel probably is the best hotel in Calbayog City, but that isn't saying much. The room wasn't very clean and was in need of repainting. The curtains were stained and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator wasn't very cold and we were basically told that we just had to live with it. The sink faucet splashed water all over the counter causing a mess and the bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine. There was no fix for for either problem. The hot water was marginal at best. The free breakfast was okay but nothing special. We ate at the restaurant only one night because the food wasn't very good and it took forever to get the food even though they weren't very busy. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet in our room most of the time. The ocean/pool view from the third floor was nice. The pool was nice. The staff was helpful but I think they needed better training from the management.
