Had to go to hotel lobby for WiFi most of stay. Hot water non existent most of time. Music blaring high volume evenings in dining room.Vehicle noise from hi way day and night. Fiesta 4 nights in a row across street until 3am huge speakers creating tremendous noise. Cafe staff poorly trained but friendly. Wine priced outrageously high. No concierge help available. Ironic that this is still best hotel in Calbayog.
Breakfast is only for Philippines not really for Western people also very noisy at times plus no hot water in showers this is our second time we stayed there and its is not as good as it makes out to be also there food is very pricey and not that good

Hotel is not well maintained as floors through out hotel has cracked tiles that make sounds as you walk.. food is terrible and expensive. Worst part is the owner who at exactly 6am every morning helps himself to buffet bfast with his bare hands, I witnessed this like clockwork for my whole 14 night stay ..just disgusting.. staff are helpless to say anything and turnover of staff is high.. bring on another competitor.. for now no other choice

Ciriaco is a bit pricey for the area. The lowest priced rooms are 2500PHP or $55 USD, which is great for the US, but pretty expensive for Calbayog City, Philippines. And I would recommend upgrading to a "sea view" room because the highway is quite loud all night. Having said that, the amenities are very first world. Hot and cold from sink and shower, very nice bathrooms (CR), beds made every day without asking, Wi-Fi, cable TV and the restaurant (Café Elsa) is very good, if a little pricey. The pool is very nice and private. The bar near the pool is fun and they do barbeque out there on some nights. I will definitely stay there the next time I go, which should be in about 5 months.
Hotel Great, restaurant food was ok but sometimes not so nice ,l used the restaurant every night as no where else close to eat. Wifi was very hit and miss spend more time asking them to get working on my floor than I liked
Ciriaco Hotel is the best hotel in Calbayog City. Based on that, the hotel is and should be rated five stars since there are no close competitors in Calbayog. IF Ciriaco were in Manila, then my ranking would be four stars due to the competition in Manila. We enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend them along with Expedia.
