Showerheads really need upgrading

If you’re looking for a place that combines charm, comfort, style, hospitality, and a surprising lack of paranormal harassment, the Adabco Boutique Hotel absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming that I briefly wondered if I was a long-lost relative returning home. The building itself is beautiful, full of character and history, while still offering all the modern comforts you could want. Given the age and charm of the place, I had secretly hoped for at least one mildly mischievous ghost of a naughty Victorian-era boy to appear in a hallway, knock over a hat stand, or whisper something unhelpful in the night. Sadly, not a single spectral rascal showed up. Very disappointing. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable that getting up each morning felt like a personal betrayal. If hotels gave frequent sleeper points, I would have earned a lifetime membership in just one night. I slept so well that even the aforementioned ghost boys, had they existed, would have struggled to annoy me. The location was fantastic. Close enough to Adelaide’s attractions to be convenient, but peaceful enough to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast provisions were a lovely touch and saved us from making important life decisions before coffee. What really sets Adabco apart is the atmosphere. It feels less like a hotel and more like staying with very organised friends who happen to own a beautiful heritage building. The whole experience was warm, relaxing, and entirely free from supernatural pranks, unexplained footsteps, or ghostly schoolboys running through walls. Honestly, I feel a little cheated. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. In fact, if anyone from management notices someone lingering suspiciously around checkout time, it’s probably me trying to negotiate permanent residency. And if any naughty ghosts decide to move in later, I’d be happy to give them another chance.

Beautiful big apartment kitchen and lounge area and separate King bed and ensuite and separate laundry area so spacious could really spread out. Clean and tidy well maintained. Close to CBD would definitely stay again

There was no picture of feet on ground showing were to stand when I wanted to gain entry to my already paid for accommodation and was lock out until we there demands for police style like mugshots and all that they wanted a cash bond to gain entry

I love coming back here because of the gorgeous decor and character reflected in the beautiful art nouveau style carpets and the brass lighting and the Beautiful oil paintings throughout the Hallways and the warm and welcoming decor of the waiting room down stairs it's all just beautiful and I love the environment.
