Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro - All Inclusive

It was good vibe overall, it could be a tad bit cleaner. It was what you are suppose to get for an all inclusive

Just cleanliness, and time management.. took 3 hours to get clean towels to a room.

The buffet was surprisingly our favorite place, the staff (specifically Daniel) was amazing!!

The sides for food, wait time in the restaurants.

The non authentic hospitality-mentality of the staff. In every moment they remind you that this is mass tourism hotel. Do not expect personalised service. Everything for the mass

Riu Palace Bavaro is beautifully landscaped and maintained with so many options for dining that we did not get to try them all. The pools and beaches were wonderful. Staff was super friendly and even fun. Our favorite dining area during the day was the snack bar near the pools -- with something like 8 styles of delicious cuisine available adjacent to poolside. It was so nice to be able to grab lunch and snacks so easily. The tacos were exceptionally tasty! The poolside bar areas were great too. The different pools had different "vibes" (levels of noise and activity) so there is something for everyone. There are plentiful chairs, cabanas and shady spots to sit in too. I prefer shade and my family prefers sun, and we were both happy.

I would not recommend staying at this RIU resort under any circumstances. If you want to ruin your vacation, this is the place to go. The resort did not honor the agreement we had at the time of booking. Instead, they attempted to impose unexpected price increases that were never agreed to or authorized. Communication through Booking was misleading and unprofessional, and at times included information that appeared altered or inconsistent with the original reservation. In addition, the documentation provided by the resort raised serious concerns about transparency and accuracy. This experience felt deceptive and extremely frustrating. If you are considering this property, proceed with caution. There are official Dominican consumer protection channels where complaints can be filed, and I strongly encourage others who have had similar experiences to report them. While you may not recover your money, raising awareness is important.
