Hotel l'Octroi

Good location view from room of La Cite walk. Newly renovated and nice and clean. Pool was refreshing after a long day of walking.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from the medieval city. Bar and pool area downstairs were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, you get a lot of food (continental) and very nice coffee! The rooms are small and fairly basic, no water/tea/coffee is provided in the rooms. However, the shower was good, bed was comfy and we had a view of the medieval city from our room. We used the hotel car park (10 euros per day), which was really convenient and secure. It’s difficult to find on street parking in Carcassonne so would recommend this. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel as it is a good value, clean, modern place very close to the medieval city.

Hotel has a great location. Few minutes from Cite and a short walk to town centre. Hotel was clean . Staff helpful. Rooms very very small. I was here for two nights so hotel was fine for the short stay. Did'nt avail of breakfast so cannot comment.Although the hotel was fine if I was going to Carcassonne again for a longer stay I would definately have to use a hotel with larger rooms.

The room was very compact, but we had a double and single which made it even smaller. Storage of bags was possible in the room but took a bit of reorganising. Learning that tea making facilities and toiletries in French accommodation are almost non existent, but then killer was dragging our bags up a narrow spiral staircase with small steps. Comfort wise the room was fine for an overnight stay

The location was great and the people really helpful. Also the airport shuttle bus-stop was just outside- 6€ in Spring 2018. Try for a room not looking at the main road. Really good value.

This is a small, but lovely hotel within a five minute walk of the old walled city. Aside from being conveniently located, the hotel itself was charming. It's in a new building in an old neighborhood and therefore had an elevator!! The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Tiny room but comfortable. Carpet in the room was discolored which was scary to walk on. Staff is super nice and accomodating.

200 meters from the old town. Has a couple of local amenities close by for any essentiasl. Good value. Small rooms but functional. We spent very little time in ours. Would return.
