Just an overnight stay but a place one could definitely stay longer as they offer lots of activities too. Great faclilities and super food. We really enjoyed staying here.

Clean room, clean hotel. Liked the arrangement. It sits just out of town on a country lane at the bottom of the fjord. It has a big hot tub, which I did not use as I was too tired after driving up from Reykjavik and going around the Troll peninsula. The café is very clean and warm. My only complaint is that the staff doesn't get up to man the desk until around 730, so I ended up having to wake them up to check out.
Hotel was clean and well maintained. It wasn't five star quality with the latest trimmings, but it was quaint and neat. Service was great, easy check-in process and the receptionist showed us around the facilities and discussed the area around the guesthouse. Hot tub was easy to access and was enjoyed by a few of the other guests in the area. Location is a bit out of the way, as it was a little bit of a drive (5 minutes) from the main areas of Akureyri. It wasn't state of the art, but it was a comfortable night stay while heading towards the East of Iceland.
First of all we were surprised at how low a rating this place had on Expedia. This place was one of the highlights to our visit in Iceland. The setting is very picturesque, with mountains in the background, green fields in front and then the fiord in the back. This place had more then advertised, it's probably updated now, but we were surprised to learn they had UTV tours, horseback riding, and bicycles. Of course all for a cost, but very well worth it. The free breakfast was great, the free coffee, tea and juice was great, free wifi and free parking. The room we had was more then I expected. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and a 10 year old. The washrooms are located in the main hallway and are shared. The floors were wet after someone else showered, so expect that. The common area/living room, was nice and had a good section of book and board games. It also has a open bar with snacks, they offer the honour system, so please be honest and don't ruin it for the rest of us. This was day5 of our visit to Iceland, so we were able to get our laundry done, of course at a small charge. We ate dinner here, and we were not disappointed, the lamb was amazing! The staff were awesome, very nice and spoke English very well. They were easily approachable and eager to help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. When I go back to Iceland, I will come back here.
Lovely guest house out in the country. Quiet, even with a room right next to the bathroom and shower. Staff was friendly and helpful; breakfast was good. Nice property with a view of the sea and a large herd of horses outside. Everything was convenient and clean on the property.
Wonderful restaurant that stayed open a few minutes extra to accommodate our late arrival. The soup was incredible. Everyone was very friendly and open to all questions.
