"Quirky B&B with great view"

8.0

The B&B was in a lovely location, right on the shoreline about a 10 min drive from the local town. Décor very Nordic & rooms were very big. Breakfast had a good choice and all well presented.

"Women will like it"

8.0

A nice place - specially if like bric-a-brac and white things. Women will love this - good restaurant and breakfast - placed in the countryside, so no nightlife - 10 minutes in car to Akueyri

"Spectacular fjord farm guest house"

10.0

We rode horses along the fjord before dining sumptuously at the guest house restaurant. We drove to Dalvik, a short thirty minute drive, to indulge in a day trip to Grimsey Island. We explored Akureyri. We took a day trip to Lake Myvatn and the Myvatn Nature Baths. We topped our three day stay with a whale watch and deep sea angling out of Dalvik. Not an inexpensive holiday, but well worth the cost.

"Right on a fjord"

10.0

Located on a fjord. we had a view of the water from our room. The property offered trail rides on Icelandic horses, which was a real treat. Restaurant was very good. Fresh local food, good breads.

"Exceptional"

This place is a gem!! They staff is great, and are genuinely caring. They even have a northern lights sign up roster, they will wake you if the northern lights are active while they are still there. The facility has a warm feel to it. Yes, there are shared bathrooms but I never had to wait, and it was very well maintained. The breakfast in the morning was simply the best. Quite possibly the best place we stayed in our 8 night stay in Iceland.
