Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa

Would never recommend Ringwood to anyone!!! We checked in, had booked a Feature room, this was located in one of the lodges. We were then given the wrong directions to the room and ended up in the Marquee grounds, where fortunately for us the Grounds man directed us to the correct location. Once there it took a good 5 mins to find our room - the room was cold and old looking the pillows and cushions on the bed and chair had been sat on and not plumped up. Returned to reception where we were offered an upgrade. This was even worse!! The privacy screen around the bath was white mesh covered in yellow staining and the dust on the Dado rail was disgusting. Also the spa facilities are available to hotel guests at a discount price - most places you at least get to use the pool free of charge. The carpets on the stairs, corridors and landings are in desperate need of a good clean too! We refused to stay. The Manageress was suppose to ring us the following day (she was on holiday the day we arrived) but now 6 days later still no phone call - not very good service at all!!!!

Stunning property and grounds. The Secret Spa is also superb and a must visit when at the hotel. All the hotel team really friendly and engaging.

TV never worked but was replaced. Staff memeber at the Spa was rude. Room comfortable, breakfast average. Breakfast and reception staff very helpful. Location great for the Peak District and great pubs with amazing food just a short drive away.

The venue is stunning, the room was absolutely fine and the staff were very friendly but the restaurant was shambolic, it needs a full review of service protocol and a decent manager working the floor. Everyone around us had some sort of issue with their dining experience. We were not even offered drinks when we sat down. Also you need to make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that the spa is an additional charge on the hotel profile that appears on the various booking sites. It is not acceptable to promote yourselves as a spa hotel and then charge an additional £69 per couple to use the facilities.

We had our wedding here on August the 2nd, and we cannot recommend it enough! The staff were super helpful, and attentive since the first conversation. They were super flexible and helpful, the prices were great! On the day it could not have been better! There was 2 weddings on at the time, yet we had no idea there was another wedding happening! The food was incredible and the event went perfectly! we even stayed and enjoyed the spa the next day! Could not recommend ringwood enough!!

Pleasant hotel, just thought very average for the cost. Staff efficient, room very pleasant though stairs rather steep and no cover to walk to restaurant (luckily not raining for our stay? Menu choice v limited if you are staying for more than one meal. So okay but wouldn't recommend or return

Stayed in room 140. Room old and tired looking and no shower in the room. The carpets throughout the hotel are really dirty also.

We visited this hotel for my parents 60th anniversary celebration. (50 guests in total). What a wonderful afternoon we had. The staff were absolutely super. The three course meal was amazing. The service was exceptional. Well done to all of the Ringwood team. Thank you for making the day a great one to remember.

I left the hotel because I was getting undressed and one staff opened the door with a key which I had locked the door beforehand they walked in on me
