Terrible experience for what we paid. No mention when booking that you had to pay an extra £69 to use the spa and pool. There were 2 weddings on at the time so felt like we were treat like 3rd class on the Titanic. Were told we could not order any food because the staff were busy with the wedding and the bars were for the wedding guests. We ended up getting a taxi out of the hotel to go for food and drinks. Also we had a double room that had 1 small bottle of soap in the shower to share between 2 people over 2 days. Really bad experience would never return.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was amazing, and every detail contributed to a truly special experience. A huge shoutout to Toni, who went above and beyond to ensure our spa experience was perfect. We can't recommend this beautiful hotel and spa highly enough for an absolutely wonderful and memorable escape.

I get backache in very weak and low quality mattress. I defo not going back to this old smelly hotel.

Chepstow u3a took 52 people to Derbyshire and stayed at Ringwood Hall Hotel. Their preparation organisation was first class. Rooms were agreed, buffet menu was agreed and when we arrived they were ready for us. They had staff on hand to help people find their rooms. The hotel is a delightful Georgian maze! The rooms were all very comfortable. We had our own dining room with tables set out so that groups could socialise, and the food was excellent. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our group had a wonderful evening. The gardens are a delight and so well kept.

Attended a wedding here. The venue is spectacular for a wedding lots of photo opportunities. The marriage ceremony was lovely although we were seated rather early on a really hot day. The afternoon tea was rather disappointing- I have never seen such small scones! Service was slow and things missed. The family had to ask for butter and jam for the scones as it had not been brought out to any table. A few tables had platters for 2 brought out for 3 people it was a little hit and miss. The Prosecco toast was poured quite a while before the toast and people had drunk it before the toast. Tea and coffee was plentiful and filled up regularly. The room was small for a dj and the music so loud for such a small place ( most guests left the room and sat outside) the room is ideal for a smaller wedding but think about the noise level for a dj. The evening buffet was mainly good. There was a lot of pizza which wasn’t the best and the pasta dish was not fully cooked. The rest was lovely. The wedding day itself was really nice.

Whilst planning a trip for my wife's birthday in Derbyshire Ringwood hotel and spa came up. I saw that the rooms had possibility of bath in hotel room which my wife always wanted so booked King size beautiful bed with bath in hotel room which was spotless and clean. Yes hotel in very traditional but very in keeping with its charm . Parking on site was ample and Breakfast included in £150-160 fee Was 8.5 out of 10 and very tasty with good selection. The grounds are beautiful and few miles away from busy Chesterfield and 20mins drive from great Derbyshire locations All the staff where lovely Receptionist where particularly professional and attentive and bar staff and staff at Breakfast equally as good. Highly recommend and would use again

The house is a very unique house with a deep history set in extensive formal gardens. The staff, particularly in reception and the Restaurant are attentive and very pleasant. The age and design of the house allows functions such as weddings and prom parties to be held without disturbing other guests. It may be a little dog-eared but that seems to add to its charm.

Enjoyed our nights stay. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were good.

Rooms standard cheap bedding. Noisy can hear people from next door rooms talking doors slamming. Not clean towels given stains on them. Outside decor not cleaned full ash trays and dirty cups left on tables. Didnt mention no free spa access and then no availability when arrived. I would definitely not stay again or recommend this place for a wedding. Postive breakfast was nice and garden surroundings.

We went to an evening wedding reception here on the 4th July. The room was lovely , the disco was fab and the food was fantastic 👌. We was disappointed 😞 with bar staff, they wasn't interested at all especially the male that was on .He was more interested in chatting to other staff and wasn't very good at pouring beer 😕. They all needed someone to take charge and roust them up because there was ques all night .
