Aktaion Hotel

Great location

Excellent location for price. Right next to the bus stop and the bridge to cross into Monamvasia. Great Balcony view. Friendly staff.

The hotel in itself is nothing amazing. Its pretty mediocre in general, but the people are nice. Noisy rooms (you can hear doors banging all night, water moving in the tubes behind the walls, other peoples bathroom fan, people talking outside on the street) but this hotel is for staying for 2 3 days max, just so you can sleep mostly, the place where it slocated is GREAT because you have everything close to you, rooms are very clean, mattress is okay, but just okay, bathroom kinda small but again it's not that bad. The hotel is good overall for 2 3 days and the people downstairs are great :)

Βρίσκεται σε πολλή καλή τοποθεσία, ακριβώς πριν την γέφυρα και δίπλα στον δημόσιο χώρο στάθμευσης. Το μέγεθος του δωματίου ήταν ικανοποιητικό, σε γενικές γραμμές καθαρό, αλλά χρήζει ανακαίνισης. Το πρωινό είχε πολύ βασικά πράγματα, εν τούτοις προσφέρθηκαν να παράσχουν ομελέτα ή τηγανητά αυγά. Το προσωπικό ήταν εξυπηρετικό και ευγενικό. Για τα χρήματά του είναι εντάξει.

A quaint hotel. No lift.

Excellent location for visiting Monemvasia castle-city and travelling to near by beaches and other towns.The hotel is basic but clean.. The restaurant joined to the hotel had great Greek cuisine specialties!excellent service and is located by the harbour..

A place to crash for a night or two. Too much noise both from the street and the hotel. No soundproof. The matresses were ok and it seemed clean even though there were some cigarette butts at the balcony.

The hotel is very average. Rooms are not really bad. But the typical greek problem: The mattresses do not match the bases. So, after 2 hours the metal in mattresses are getting into your body, instead of in base. The breakfast is poor. VERY poor.....ok, it's also a littlecost-! BUT.... Breakfast room is a bar in the evening. And what is Greece most popular hobby??? Yep! Kill other people with smoking!!!! So, at breakfast you are gagging with the (HORRIBLE) smell. My eyes started to tear. It was horrible. a 100% NOT GO hotel

Monemvasia was beautiful, Hotel Aktaion was in a perfect location! Lots of parking out back. Right next to the water, we could see the peninsula from our balcony. There are great breakfast restaurants just downstairs and everything is completely walkable. For the price the hotel is fantastic, completely serviceable room. The bed was a little hard but that just seems to be the norm everywhere we've stayed in Greece. 10/10 would stay here again.
