Clean room, friendly staff but super uncomfortable bed and a/c did not work

its an ok sleep,bed is ok bathrooms needs updating and new fresh paint walls are too gloomy looking offwhite looks dirty to look at need bright white and new light fixtures. saw a couple of roach motels under the beds and around the corner walls, floor is all beaten up carpets smells and old looking doors are sketchy feels like someone would kick the door off and steal stuff from me i dont feel safe.need better door security,no do not disturb signs,no building emergency evac charts. air condition is poor my room is behind the washroom door. I would stay here again only if its entirely renovated from the inside out and give it a fresh look coz the location is perfect for everything.my advice,,Upgrade and update keep up with the times and will attract more biznes.

Was kind of dissappointed not as clean as I would like, was unbearable hot even with air turned on

Well, I'm pretty sure the staff robbed 500$ cash from my room while I was asleep, so kinda terrible. Hey Derrick motel, suck it you asswipwes.

I think I reserved non smoking room. But They gave a smoking room . Non smoking room is $10. more. Smoking smell was too bad to sleep.

Motel is ok for a cheap quick stop $ 75.00/night .....couple of nights business trip Very nice staff,,,,,what baffled me, a non-smoking room cost more then a smoking one? (I didn't even know, there are smoking rooms offered anymore ?!) All in all, very acceptable stay !!!!!

Good location close to shopping center

The woman at the front desk was very friendly, easy to deal with. The location of the hotel was conveniently located, there was, however, a train yard right behind the hotel. I could say many things about the room that I stayed in, but, all that needs to be said is that it needs to be renovated. It was a relief to get out of that room. I guess the room would be good for oil rig guys, that really don't care where they stay, I guess....

The Derrick motel has been around for a lot of years...and it definitely looks like an old time motel. That being said, I have no complaints about my room or the stay there in general. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the room was clean, it is getting time for an upgrade. It did look a bit long in the tooth. That being said, cleanliness is number one with me when staying in a hotel and I have no complaints on that score. The room had a fridge, tv and coffee maker. I'd stay there again.

Loud yelling neighbors, drunk people in front of the motel and smelly air conditioner.
